چکیده

In this paper, a Quasi-Z-Source Photovoltaic (PV) Inverter is proposed. The proposed inverter gives the solution for most of the problems associated with currently available PV inverters. In this inverter, the power conversion takes place in a single-stage itself thereby fulfilling the requirements such as, inverting dc voltage to proper ac, stepping up the input voltage, maximum power point tracking can be implemented, harmonics can be reduced at the output, and providing galvanic isolation. This inverter is a fully resonant Zsource network converter in which the network is formed by LC pairs and a diode. Apart from these advantages by implementing resonance condition switching losses are made negligible and the voltage stress on the switches are minimised. Hence high frequency of operation is possible which makes the inverter very compact. The other significant advantage is that by replacing the bulky electrolytic capacitors with LC pairs will significantly increase the reliability of PV inverters. A 1KW system is modelled by using MATLAB.13 and the simulation results are included and the prototype of 30 W systems is tested and the results are included in this paper.
